Let Allan Mathews, Missoula's "preeminent local historian and historic preservationist," author of A Guide to Historic Missoula, and honoree as "Preservationist of the Decade," lead you into an experience in time travel through this western Montana community's rich history. Missoulian editor, Sherry Devlin, described Allan's tours as follows: " It's like the old saying: 'If these walls could talk.' When Allan Mathews walks around Missoula the walls start talking. And, the stories they tell are wonderful!" Get to know Missoula like few others have. Visit with mayors and madams through Allan's entertaining and humorous descriptions of characters, events and historic architecture, that led to American Heritage Magazine's declaration of Missoula as The Great American Place.
Missoula Historic Tours is Allan Mathews, who has been giving tours of Missoula and the surrounding area for over thirty years.
